Dr Betty Arkhurst

Dr. Betty Arkhurst believes in providing empathetic care that promotes healing and helps you look and feel your personal best.  She is an expert in lifestyle medicine, addiction, and mental health.  She believes that empowering patients through emphasizing disease prevention and maintaining health is the key to longevity.

Dr. Arkhurst’s philosophy is that whether you suffer from a long list of symptoms or you just don’t feel like yourself anymore, she can help you learn why you feel the way you do. This is crucial in our practice because patient education means patient empowerment, and ultimately good patient outcome and great health. When you can be nurtured to know what’s going on inside of your body and how to correct those issues, you’re more likely to take better care of yourself. With the in-depth testing and comprehensive approach she uses, you’ll learn more about your health and this can be an important part of your health’s journey.

Dr Arkhurst is a dual Board-Certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience. She holds a master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner, Doctoral Degree in Nursing Practice, and a Post-Doctoral Degree in Psychiatric Mental health.
